Villa Merlin – Salares
A peaceful one bedroom apartment , which is part of a villa located in an area amongst stunning mountain scenery and seaviews.
The bright apartment leads to the covered terrace where one can relax with a drink, taking in views of vineyards,olive and almond groves. Even the Rif mountains in Africa can be seen at dawn and dusk!
The goatherd passes now and again within metres of the villa -tending his flock.The wildboar are also seen in the evening amongst the oak trees. This is the real Spain!
Our house is located at 3 km of the beautiful white village of Canillas de Albaida and at 50 m of the border of the national park Sierra Tejeda.Also nearby you have the villages of Salares and Competa, in Competa you can find shops, restaurants and tapa bars.
Long walks into the spectacular Park(100m away),will take you to the pretty, white villages dating back to the Moors , or up into the high mountains,beyond the treeline. Just as beautiful during the winter, as the summer.The track into the Park leads to La Moroma (6800ft).
Great for hiking, mountainbiking, horseriding or walks.
The nearest beaches of Torre de Mar, Torrox Costa and Nerja are at approx 35 minutes drive.
Excellent location for exploring Andalucia with its beautiful white villages, and towns such as Granada, Sevilla, Malaga, Cordoba and Antequera.
The Malaga airport is a 60 min.drive.
We recommend to hire a car as the house is in the countryside and the last 1km via country lanes.

The guestapartment is composed out of a separate bedroom with double bed, open kitchen, separate large family bathroom and living area.There is direct access to the private south facing terrace, the swimming pool and the garden. The pool (illuminated at night ) and terraces around the house offer more areas for outdoor living, into the long summer evenings.
You can also choose to do selfcatering as you have a nice kitchen in the apartment.
All linnen, also swimmingpool towels are provided.
We also provided toiletpaper and soap etc.

Ongeveer 1 week verbleven in Villa Merlin, zalige plaats om te relaxen. Uiterst mooi uitzicht hoog op de berg s avonds erg charmant!
En vooral dicht bij het mooiste dorp ter wereld Competa! Ook voor wie van wandelen houdt de place to be. Komt daarbij dat Malaga en de kust vlot te bereiken zijn. Contact met de eigenaars heel erg vlot en correct! Wil zeker nog eens terug!

Een zalig plekje om rustig te genieten van een overweldigende natuur. Vanaf het terras een heerlijk uitzicht op de bergen en de zee. In de achtertuin ligt een nationaal park waar we een flinke bergwandeling gemaakt hebben met zowel onderweg als op de top een prachtig uitzicht! Heerlijk ruime vakantiewoning zowel buiten als binnen, met uitzondering van de slaapkamer waar eerder smal bed stond. Maar dat is dan ook het enige minpuntje! Alles was heel netjes en er werden voldoende handdoeken voorzien. Wij hebben geen ontbijt genomen. Harry en Wally zijn twee toffe en lieve mensen die zich uitsloofden om het ons naar onze zin te maken en veel tips gegeven hebben over te maken uitstappen. Een echte aanrader!

Zéér rustige ligging,mooi uitzicht,leuk zwembad.Zéér warm onthaal van de gastvrouw en gastheer.Het appartement is tiptop in orde eens je binnenstapt heb je direkt een thuisgevoel.Lekker verzorgd ontbijt alles is aanwezig je komt niks tekort.Ook vele leuke dorpjes in de buurt en vele restaurantjes waar je zéér lekker kunt eten.Voor de sportievelingen die graag fietsen of wandelen zijn er vele mooie plekjes om te ontdekken gewoon even aan Wally en Harry vragen die zullen je met véél plezier helpen.Het is gewoonweg toppie, wij hebben een leuke,toffe,aangename en sportieve vakantie gehad.We hebben ervan genoten en we komen zeker nog is terug.Doe zo voort en nog héél véél succes.

Het is een prachtige locatie. Geweldige gastheer en gastvrouw. Het verblijft was heel erg goed, knus ingericht, genoeg ruimte en erg schoon. Voldoende te doen voor de sportieve mens maar ook om lekker tot rust te komen. Heerlijk zwembad en veel privacy.
Wij hebben het ontzettend naar onze zin gehad en komen hier zeker terug.
Een aanrader dus.

Prachtige locatie!Op enkele meters van het natuurreservaat, direct van het huis toegangkelijk. Je kan hier zalig mountainbiken,wandelen én tot rust komen. Zeer warm onthaal. Prima accomodatie,prachtig uitzicht en leuk zwembad.Lekker en gevariëerd ontbijt en mogelijkheid tot een lekkere lunch.Goed gelegen,mooie typische dorpjes in de buurt en de zee op aanvaardbare afstand(35 min.met de auto). Wij hebben hier een zalig rustige en sportieve vakantie gehad. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
