Bed and breakfast De Sterre – Bruges
We offer our guests the use of a summerhouse, built in 1789 by a former owner of our own listed home, dating back to the 16th centrury.
If you stay with us, you enjoy complete privacy: the summerhouse contains a bedroom, ensuite bathroom, sitting room with tea- and coffeemaking facilities and has its own seperate entrance to the large walled garden.
Breakfast, consisting of fresh juice, fruit, rolls, cheeses, jams and yoghurt can, weather permitting, be served under the large oak tree.
It’s hard to imagine the bustling city center is only a few hundred meters away from this heaven of tranquility...

This was a delightful little summer house with everything provided including tea, coffee, slippers, dressing gowns, extra bedding & towels and even books and CDs. Francine has obviously taken a great deal of care to make her guests comfortable.
Having said that - it would have been nice to have somewhere comfortable to sit in the evening. There are two upholstered chairs but they are old and very uncomfortable after a few minutes. In addition the steep, unbanistered staircase to the mezzanine bedroom & bath is some what perilous and unsuitable for any one who is not fleet of foot. On the whole a little over priced for what it is.
