I really loved my stay @ Houseboat Linda. Linda is a great host and the houseboat is situated near multiple tramstations.
Breakfast was great, a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom.
Reaching the houseboat might be a bit slippery on the outside stairs when it's raining, so be careful.

From the moment we got there until our final day in Amsterdam, Linda was an absolute pleasure. We stayed for 5 days and four nights and had a wonderful stay. The booking ahead was so easy and her replies to our inquiries prompt. She sent flawless directions for our commute from Schipol Airport to her Houseboat. Linda give us all the highlights of Amsterdam when we arrived, including maps . An enormous breakfast was delivered every morning at the precise time you requested. We had so much food she provided us with ziploc bags to make sandwiches with every day. These came in handy as we would leave the boat for the day, we’d enjoy a packed lunch over a canal with a beer or coffee, and be gone 6 to 8 hours discovering Amsterdam. The room had more than enough space, the beds were comfortable and quilts cozy. The entire boat was spotlessly clean. I loved waking up every morning and seeing the ducks and geese float by the window. (You don’t feel waves on the houseboat) She went out of her way to get my distilled water for my cpap machine and have it waiting in the room for me. Great location, four Trams stops at the corner, easy walk to everything. Plenty of local cafes and bars close by. Grocery store on the corner was convenient too. Just a 10 minute tram ride from Amsterdam Central station. On our last day Linda had our breakfast ready early for our departure to the airport. She had found out that morning that the train line to the Airport had been shut down due to some thieves stealing the copper wire under the train bridge. When she delivered our breakfast she had already figured out the bus schedule as an alternate, a map to show us where to get to the bus to the airport and all the details. Truly an amazing hostess, would highly recommend Linda and her boat house. Would definitely stay with her again if we ever return to Amsterdam.…
