During our travels, we have searched for somewhere close to a big city that could focus on cultural and festive life, but at the same time, was not too overcrowded.
We have looked for a place where you can recharge yourself, away from the hubbub and stress of everyday life, and where the pleasures of the palate can be enjoyed in maximum comfort.
Lo Vela Zen is situated 28 km from Malaga, between Colmenar and Olias, and 9 km from the «Montes de Málaga Natural Park »
This green, mountainous area is a classified and protected site, quite a contrast to the rest of Andalusia which has turned brown in the sun.
It is an isolated area with a mountainous terrain that stretches over 40 000 m2, populated by almond and olive trees. Fruit trees border the mountain paths that lead from the nature park to our residence.
« Lo Vela Zen » was created for people in search of tranquillity, rest, and well-being and where visits, trips, hikes, retreats or seminars can be reserved if required.
The style of the building is typically Andalusian in construction, adapted to meet all the demands of the modern world.
We have 6 rooms, as well as a magnificent area designed for retreat, rebuilt in the local stone on the foundations of an old lodge.
The high quality of excellence is reflected in our rooms. Each of them is equipped with: mini bar, TV, air conditioning, heating and its own bathroom with hairdryer, towels, and toiletries.
Like you, each room is unique. You can opt for a walk-in (Italian) shower or a traditional bathtub, heating or an open fire (subject to availability).
Facilities include a large heated swimming pool with panoramic views of the valley, two terraces, an air-conditioned indoor dining area and an outdoor bar.
.We have the ability to increase the number of guests to 20.
Free covered parking.
A buffet breakfast is included in the price of the room.
A set menu is available all day.
Shuttle service to Malaga Airport (fixed price)
