Our gîte ‘Logement Mme Chapelle’ is a sun-filled, extremely spacious, fully renovated, and comfortable 18th-century home, which is equipped with all mod cons. We have carefully preserved the authentic details, making the interior design an exciting blend of old Burgundian materials and modern features. Being the only guests at the property, you will have the holiday home completely to yourselves, allowing you to enjoy the large courtyard with a view of the village square, the lovely gardens, the peace and quiet, and the space to the fullest.

This house can accommodate a maximum of 4 people, offering two large bedrooms with their own sitting areas and en-suite bathrooms, as well as a lovely living/dining room combination with a wood stove. Our guests are often pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness, not expecting a whopping 135 square metres of floor area!
In the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooking enthusiasts can cook to their heart’s content, as it offers a large gas-fired Falcon range cooker with a twin oven, as well as a selection of cookbooks. There are electric heaters in all rooms. And there is an iPod docking station, a computer, and a flat-screen TV, with international channels. The house also offers free WiFi.

Issy-l’Evêque is a great starting point for walks or cycling trips. Roads and paths radiate from the village in six different directions, with numerous connections between them, creating a kind of spider’s web of small roads and paths. There are several signposted walking and cycling routes. The village lies on a number of long-distance walking routes, including the famous pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela (GR 13).
Rental bikes can be arranged in the neighbourhood, but most of our guests bring their own.
Pay attention: sufficient gears are not a luxury!

Your dog is welcome, after arrangement please. Our dachshund Yackson (male) and our French braque Dauphine (female) are present too.
