Villa Oliva – Mondrón
In Villa Oliva you can enjoy a quiet and pleasant holiday in a real Spanish environment. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 1 bedroom is at lower level the house as an annex and has it's own entrance. Ideal if you are on holiday with friends or family. Each bedroom als has a it's own bathroom.
There is a spacious living room with satellite tv, dvd player and free wifi during your entire stay. We also have a variety of travel guides and reading books. For the little ones there is a box full of games and coloring books. The living room has an open connection with the kitchen, here you can find everything you need; oven, microwave, dishwasher, spices, kettle, Dolce Gusto, toaster, juicer,… There also is a separate utility room where you can find a washing machine, steam iron with ironing board. To enjoy some music around the pool we also provide a stereo with radio, cd or usb.
In the some colder months, it remains a good place to stay in Mondrón with the Spanish sun, the air conditioning (warm/cold) in each room and the fireplace in the living room.
Outside Villa Oliva there is a spacious garden with tropical trees such as lemon, lime, orange, figs and nectarines. Perfect for enjoying a glass of self-picked and pressed juice in the morning! In front is an al fresco-dining place with BBQ, here you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area with Lake Vinuela and in the distance the ocean. Would you rather enjoy a glass of wine on the roof terrace? A luxurious terrace with stunning views is waiting for you …
In the backyard there is a large pool of 9×5 m with an outdoor shower. Just choose a place by the pool and relax in the sun or in one of our loungers in the shade of a parasol. Do you prefer a delicious BBQ meal by the pool instead of in the front garden? Everything is possible in Villa Oliva, that's why we also offer a built-in BBQ by the pool.
Relaxation, enjoyment and safety is very important for us therefore you can close the side gates to the front yard for the little ones. To pamper your children (and yourself) there are several water games, pool mattresses and arm bands available.

Nous avons passé 15 jours magnifiques dans votre Villa Oliva. Nous avons été très bien accueilli lors de notre arrivée, la villa était impeccable, comme décrite sur votre site (pas de mauvaise surprise).

We zijn weer goed gearriveerd in Holland.
De eerste werkweek zit er al weer op.
Vakantie was nogmaals top. Dat je in een week toch een leuke en korte band met de locals opbouwt, blijft leuk. Ondanks de taalbarrière!

We've had a safe trip home, a little bit long for my husband, faster for me :-)).
This stay in Mondròn was great. Your house is top and thanks for your kindness (your presents are delicious, miam ). We were really well able to rest in an ideal environment. Beautiful holidays.

Bij aankomst in Mondron hartelijk verwelkomt door Jolyne. De woning zag er keurig uit: schoon, ruim en alles is aanwezig! Vooral ook handig dat zelfs de handdoeken voor bij het zwembad klaar liggen. Dat scheelt een hoop ruimte in de koffers. De tuin is goed onderhouden en het zwembad werd ook keurig schoongemaakt! Het was dan ook goed vertoeven op één van de ligstoelen in de tuin. Mondron zelf is klein, maar beschikt wel over een restaurant met lekker eten en twee kleine supermarkten. De komo komo had alleen bijna geen producten. Het andere winkeltje wel, maar daar bestel je bij de toonbank wat je nodig hebt. Hier is het dus wel handig als je een beetje Spaans kunt spreken of neem een woordenboek mee!
De dorpjes nabij Mondron (Periana en Riogordo) hebben wat meer restaurants en iets uitgebreidere winkels. Het is verder een goede uitvalsbasis om bijvoorbeeld Malaga stad een keer te bezoeken, Granada (het Alhambra is echt een aanrader!) of de stranden bij Nerja. Een auto is dus overigens wel een noodzaak.
Wij hebben ons er heerlijk vermaakt en vinden Villa Oliva dan ook een echte aanrader!

Wir haben zu viert einen zweiwöchigen Urlaub in der Villa Oliva verbracht. Wir haben die Lage der Villa abseits vom Tourismus und mit tollem Blick auf die umliegende schöne Landschaft mit den vielen Olivenbäumen sehr genossen. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die große Dachterrasse, von der aus man abends den beeindruckenden Sternenhimmel und tolle Mondaufgänge sehen kann.
Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es mangelt an nichts. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, und es gibt 2 Grillkamine im Freien.
Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt. Überall gibt es gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten. Der Pool ist sehr groß und man genießt auch vom Pool aus einen tollen Blick auf die Berge. Es sind Luftmatratzen u.ä. vorhanden.
In dem kleinen Ort gibt es ein kleines Geschäft für den täglichen Einkauf und es gibt auch ein Restaurant. Ansonsten sind es nur ein paar Minuten Fahrtzeit bis in den nächst größeren Ort Periana, in dem es auch einen größeren Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants gibt.
Wir empfehlen diese Villa auf jeden Fall gern weiter. Wir haben uns super erholt. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei der Vermieterin Jolyne, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen hat und uns auch während des ganzen Aufenthaltes gut betreut hat.
