This is a charming quirky B&B with unusually lavish rooms all individually decorated, each with an individual theme. There was so much to look at, it felt like an adventure. The rooms were spotlessly clean, there was a minibar fridge availale, and kettles with tea and coffee. Every eventuality was catered for, lovely continental breakfasts, and they also catered for my quite specific dietary needs. We loved it, and would recommend it in a minute. The owners were extremely hospitable, and tried to think of everything. Language barriers were no issue and we all muddled through, and there was a lot of fun, laughter and humour.

Het was een zeer charmant, rustiek hotelletje(B&B) met een zeer lekker ontbijt en zeer aangename gastvrouw. We hadden de kleinste kamer (chambre jaune)door dat we vrij laat hadden geboekt maar dit is zeer goed meegevallen. De andere kamers zien er op foto prachtig uit. We hebben heel lekker geslapen. Het hotelletje is met smaak en warmte ingericht. de ligging is perfekt, direkt in het centrum van Chimay.

Brigitte nous a recus avec gentillesse et humilité dans cette belle maison du centre historique du vieux Chimay, un décoration raffinée, du mobilier ancien magnifique et un souci du détail digne des magazines de décoration ( nous avons appris que Brigitte etait antiquaire et décoratrice dans une autre vie), notre nuit fut calme et de qualité, linge ancien brôdés et serviettes moelleuses et le petit dejeuner divin et personnalisé... Le gros avantage de cette belle maison est de pouvoir trouver un large choix de restaurants de grande qualité et de tous niveaux à 50 mètres à pieds du " Petit Chapitre , nous avons beaucoup apprécié !Une etape a laquelle nous ne couperons pas lors de nos sejour dans la region.
